Unlike many other "designer guitars" the Jaxville Hades has been created by the artists working hand-in-hand with the luthiers to produce a guitar in which the design is an integral part of the instrument. Each one is then beautifully finished with matching headstock, neck and black accessories in a luxuriously hi-gloss finish.

The 'Hades' guitar depicts the judgment of a mortal's soul, the verdict of an after-life in peace, or in perpetual torment hanging in the balance. In Greek mythology 'Hades' was the ruler of the underworld, given the Helm of Darkness for his role in the victory over the Titans in the Divine War. The guitar, masked in black, offers a sinister connection to the realms of the departed; tortured souls screaming out through the strings of this axe.
